There are many different ways of connecting S-RAM to MSX memory. Some
examples:
- FM-PAC / Panasonic S-RAM cartridge
- Game Master 2
- turbo R
- Sony S-RAM cartridge
The only thing "SRAM" tells you is that it doesn't need a refresh signal.
It doesn't say how the memory is accessed. Like there are many different
MegaROM mappers, there are also many different ways of accessing SRAM. Some
are even I/O mapped: using I/O ports rather than memory addresses to
read/write the SRAM (like the MSX VRAM).
