The SFG can be used on any MSX if you have the right connector to convert
the normal MSX slot to a Yamaha Expansion slot.

Interesting! Does it have a marking or typenumber?

So, same as on my CX5M with built in SFG-05.

Yes, I have it.

I think so. It contains some nice software with which you can also control
the MIDI ports.
> Has anyone got the keyboard that works with the module?
Yes I have it, i.e. the small one. Tristan Zondag has the big one, e.g.

I don't have the manual, but try a little. It is not that hard. The FM
Voicing Program 2 is easier though!

Ehm, strange. I even get the DISK option without any diskdrive connnected to
my CX5M.

Ah, is the FAQ wrong??? I will correct it as soon as I have SSH access to
the university. Which may never happen, so than I have to wait until I get
back.
Every Yamaha MSX has this Yamaha expansion slot. I also have the converter
to normal MSX slot.

I hope this helps a little.

So, that is correct. I don't know the additional use of this Yamaha expander
slot.
