] But, when MSX became dead (1990 or so), many people (like me) bought
] a MSX2, MSX2+ o MSXturboR machine, and they could play disk versions ...
] Because of this they stood on MSX system .... If not, they had left
] MSX.
]
] So I insist: Japanese companies thought that European MSX market
] was too "litle" to invest on it. I doubt that Konami was afraid of Martos :)
I have to agree on this one. Even the hardware manufacturers (who benefit
from pirated games because it increases the popularity of the hardware)
considered the European market too small. They did not release DOS2, the
fm-pac, the MSX2+ system nor the MSX turbo R on the European market because
they considered the market simply too small.
