Using Pascal you CAN include your own ASM code in your programs easily. In
fact, COMS5 and COMS6 (Angel Culla's terminal emulators) are written in
Pascal using embedded ASM code to poll the serial port, and they're quite
fast. I've seen a 3.58Mhz MSX2 using a 28.800 bps modem plugged to an
ACCNET interface, and working at full speed.

Oh, by the way, I have right here an original copy of MSX Turbo Pascal 3.3
by MSX Computer Club Enschede, with a nice CD-ROM-like case for a
3.5" diskette and a nice (dutch) manual. :)

Regards,
