So how about starting at the other end and modifying the VGA monitor itself?
I assume that the tube and deflection circuitry of a VGA monitor and a RGB
monitor should not be too different from eachother. There should be a DAC
somewhere in the input circuit, so is it possible that it could be adapted
for a lower horizontal line frequency? Maybe it could even be as simple as
changing the frequency of a sampling oscillator circuit. Or am I totally
wrong here? Does anybody have a circuit diagram of a normal VGA monitor and
a diagram of an RGB monitor, so we could compare them?
