I already offered help when I first learned of his harddisk problem. However,
the harddisk doesn't even spin, so there is nothing I can fix with sector
editing (that was what I hoped for).
There are companies that specialise in data recovery, but they are very
expensive. And without proper tools, you don't have a chance.
