Yes there was a Sony IDE CD-ROM player and there should also be one from
Goldstar. By the way most IDE 52 speed are not 52 times as fast as a normal
one speed player. Since this 52 speed only works at the outher edge of the
CD. With a one speed Cd-Rom player. You have speed adjust to the read
setting.
However the new Kenwood Cd players. Are real 52 speed, because they work with
the same methode as a one speed CD-Rom execept that they use more beams to
read the data with..(even the 72 speed)
