Nice that you put so much effort in, great!
If you insist in using a flat file format, like a 'interchange' format,
please do one thing for me..
Use a end-of-record marker, like '~~~' on the end of a record. This so that
the field seperator can be CRLF. It can then be handled by database tools,
else a custom written program is always needed.
by the way, (YY)YYMMDD is the ISO standard (international), (YY)YY.MM.DD is
the ANSI standard (american general standard, USA is mm/dd/(YY)yy)

Hi people,
I finished the first version of the Unified MSX Format
syntax verifier. You can get it in the address:
http://www.lsi.usp.br/~ricardo/msx/inicheck.zip
Unfortunately I'm too tired to write an instruction manual,
I hope you can wait until tomorrow. Generic SRAM syntax will wait
until tomorrow also, sorry.
The package includes source code, a DOS binary and
a sample file. To use it, just type at a DOS prompt...
inicheck game.ini
... where, of course, game.ini is the file you want to check.
The software is not optimized, but at least I believe it's
bug-free. In any case, please let me know if you have any bug report
or suggestion.
