I think that's true. For a GPL-ed front-end to an emulator it wouldn't be a
problem if the emulator isn't under GPL.
I was thinking of integrating the source of the parser in the emulator. For a
command-line driven emulator like fMSX-unix that isn't necessary, but for
emulators that contain an elaborate GUI it is the most practical way to do it.
