Does the svi738 does have a clockchip? AFAIK the ROM reads some contents
from
the clockchip. If this isn´t present the system crashes.
A long time ago I turned a Yamaha CX5M-II into an MSX2 by adding videoram an
patching
the MSX2 subrom to emulate some values the BIOS tried to read from the
clockram.
This means on my old computer you cannot change date, time, prompt, hello
and all the parameters
set by SET SCREEN.
