Using MegaSCSI here, I noticed the problem is about the boot sector.
Regular MSX machines using DOS2, when detecting the "changed" MSXDOS1
boot sector of SD-Snatcher (I'm talking about using virtual FD on
MegaSCSI) make the system go to basic (irgh!).
This doesn't seem to happens on TurboR because it has a different
way to control those things. If it detects the disk is MSXDOS1 it
simple changes the DOS ROM (using the MSXDOS1 ROM) and then the game
starts fine.
I think if someone adapt SD-Snatcher to run from files (which I do
not have any clues if it's hard or not-so-hard - this kind of thing
is never easy... at least, a lot of HARD work is needed) it would
run fine even on harddisk, even without VFD (EP.COM).
