Ans the solution (hm...hm...) is caled MemMan (for Memory Manager)
by MST. Have a look at:

    ftp://ftp.funet.fi/pub/msx/utils/memman/MM24intr.eng.txt and
    ftp://ftp.funet.fi/pub/msx/utils/memman/MM24spec.eng.txt

for documentation and

    ftp://ftp.funet.fi/pub/msx/utils/memman/memman24.pma

for the thing itself. Memman sets up an memory management system
under both DOS1 and DOS2 (and is compatible with DOS2's own
'memman') and allows you to use *all* available mappers...

(Damn, I sound like a f***g commercial ;-))
