On a 8250, under both DOS1 and DOS2 the primary mapper will be your 1024K 
external mapper. Unless execrom.com or loadrom.com explicitly select blocks 
from other mapper (unlikely), they will use blocks from the external mapper. 

So you are probably getting maximum speed already. If the games run too slow, 
look for cracked versions instead of ROM images. Cracked versions can be 
faster; it depends on how well the crack was done.
