There is a newer bios version 1.59, but that one is officially never
released. you need it when you want to use a scsi-device with id higher then
3 to boot from, like an external iomega zip drive. this device can only have
ID 5 or 6...

As Manuel Bilderbeek mentioned in his post, the newest version of fdisk is
NFDISK version 1.2 and the accompanying MAP.COM. This Fdisk can create 32
partitions and thus one can use a 1 GB harddisk. To be able to use those 32
partitions you use MAP.COM. If you use the wrong one, then you will not get
any other partitions or get reading/writing problems to the driveyou tried
to change partition.
