There have been several projects. Some of them have been successful, others not. Sunrise's IDE interfaces have been sold out and almost everybody is using them. Other successful development has been the Moonsound (a OPL4-based sound cartridge), but it has almost no software. I think that would be a good idea, because many people tend to CC: to the list when posting to several MSX lists, or when answering to someone's private email AND the list at the same time. Having the string "[MSX]" or anything else in the subject of the messages would make filtering much easier.
