Are you sure this has worked with RuMSX?

On a real MSX this direct access is no problem. But on RuMSX i doubt if you
can access the real parallel port this way.

And RuMSx is already better than other emu's, it does printer emulation.
But there is a software layer in between, i use it sometimes to capture
printer output to a PC file.
Not all MSX software can print on RuMSX , i guess 'dirty' access to the
printer port is not possible.
