maybe the SVI's drive is busted...
I've always been able to read the MSX disks on my PC...

Hello list!

I just got a SVI 738. =) As far as I know, it has not been
modified in any way. It has MSX Basic 1.0 and Disk Basic 1.0.

I have a bunch of old (but functional) DD disks. If I format
one with SVI, I can use it just fine -- saving and loading
files work perfectly. However, I'm not able to read the disk
with any of my three PC's (running Windows XP and 2000). They
say the disk probably isn't formatted.

I also tried formatting the disk with Windows 2000, using the
/1 -switch to make the disk one-sided. Still no luck: this time
the SVI can't read the disk.

By the way, my Amiga (with Cross-DOS installed) can't read SVI
disks either.

I remember once being able to transfer files between PC, Amiga
and SVI 738 without any tricks. Any idea what might be the
problem here?

Thanks in advance!
