This question might by the way have been a choice between Single Density and Double Density (SD and DD), instead of Single Sided/Double Sided (SS/DS)... I believe my VG8235 (single side drive) also gave that option when formatting. SS SD is 180kb disks, SS DD is 360kb disks, and DS DD is 720kb. Not entirely sure though, and it's still weird that it's different on your current SVI 738. ~Grauw --- Ushiko-san!
