Hi.

There's been a lot of changes to the runtime over the last year, and since the 
observed slowdown is gradual, isolating the changes that contribute to it 
sounds difficult.

More to the point -- I have some questions and a possible work-around. Is your 
new computer connected to a domain? Are you using a Microsoft account on the 
new computer? Are you able to make your MSYS2 fast again by changing your 
/etc/nsswitch.conf, as described in 
<https://github.com/Alexpux/MSYS2-packages/issues/138>?
