Sorry for the delayed addition to this thread.
I just want to ask whether it would make sense to be able to 'git clone' using the git protocol and yet have the 'git pull' fail? That's the situation I'm in. The initial clone worked fine but I am unable to pull as described before. Does that make sense if it's a firewall issue?
