What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. type 'git status' or any other git command in the cmd.exe prompt
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
i can see the git execution on screen once i've pressed return, however the
command prompt closes within a split second so i haven't got chance to read
anything
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I'm using Git-1.5.4-preview20080202 with Windows XP 32(84) bit edition?
with service pack 2
