After people's comments about the number of postings I've made over
the past week, I've decided to condense the following into one e-mail
to answer some people's points.

For a start I'd like to apologise to all the sensible members of the
list for my somewhat over-anxious posting on the current debates. I
realise now that a lot of people I was replying to were not reading
what I was putting and merely flaming so I shouldn't have bothered
replying to them. I shall attempt to not make this mistake again.

My only defence is that I was trying to explain misunderstandings and
support my arguments with facts rather than random opinions and
shouting. I realise that the real members of the list who read the
posts were hearing my arguments a repeated number of times, and the
flamers I was attempting to get through to weren't.

With that said, I'll now answer a few things, and keep the irrelavent
parts and flamer answers to a minimum. Speaking of which:

If you think that scoring goals, winning games and tactics
are "petty" and "trivial", good for you. I however do not. All my
arguments were backed up by actual evidence and in no way badly
written, and I don't feel you can quote most members opinions for
them. And by the way, flaming is when you insult someone without
making reference to their arguments, i.e. what you've just done.

Yes, I'm a him. Clever subject line you used there too, pretty
funny. The reasons I didn't stop when asked (told) to were mainly
the number of replies I was getting which completely misinterpreted
my points, which I thought I should clarify, and that the main people
telling me to stop were just of the "shut up, you're stupid" type who
couldn't come up with anything to argue against me.

However I realise talking to them is pointless so I'll try not to
repeat anything from now on.

Thanks for the support Pete (apart from the obsessive bit!), and yes
I was just suggesting some other topics to discuss as it seemed
interesting that we switched to that system and then back again all
of a sudden.

I'll make sure to drop the subjects once I've said all there is to
say once.

I'd also like to thank Lim Boon Wee for his comments. I realise now
the people I'm usually repeating myself to aren't even bothering to
read them anyway, so I'll quit that to save all the sensible members
the pain of seeing the repitition.

I hope this clears up my position.

As a last point I'd like to say DAMN YAHOO GROUPS, damn them all to
hell!!! The stupid thing decided that even though I'd told it I
wanted to stay signed in AND put my password in once today, it'd ask
me again after I wrote out the first version of this huge e-mail and
proceed to just delete the whole thing and take me to My Groups!!!

Beware the evil of Yahoo Groups and write your long posts in
Wordpad. :-)
