Yes as long as thats a downward slope and not a dip in form. The
problem I see is Alex not being prepared to take the knife to his
team of fledglings.

Apart from his jumping even when fit Ruud is no Andy Cole. Wherever
he comes from we need a young striker with pace to burn. This may be
Diego's role but it doesn't hurt to have a backup.

Agreed. We don't have to buy if those players are not available
though. I'm prepared to watch us lose games while Alex give's the
kids a chance. But I'm not sure if he is or more importantly if the
board is.

When would this be able to happen this year for instance? Well if the
league is gone with 5 or more games to go then throw the kids on I
say. The only problem being the need to keep the stars match fit for
our march to the EC final at OT. Not easy but hopefully some of the
kids can get the chance to prove their worth in the premiership.
