May be interesting if they dispensed with penalties
and played a golden goal until someone scores.

If both teams knew there was no point being negative
something might give in normal time. If not, fatigue
would eventually be a factor, so there would be
no hiding place.

Juve and Milan both defended well on Wednesday, but to
be honest I don't think Trezeguet, Del Piero or
Inzhagi got good service or support. Shevchenko did
try to be inventive but defending is so much easier
when the midfield are more occupied with plugging
gaps.

I'm with Andrew. Best 0-0 I've seen in ages. The
defending was
extraordinary, from midfield back - how on earth did
we score five
against Juve? Every time I see Maldini, I think, he
can't STILL be
playing - and he was brilliant. Also agree about
Gattuso. He was
everywhere. As for penalty shoot-outs, I think
they're a disgraceful
way to settle important games, etc, but I love
watching them,
especially when I don't really give a toss who wins.
Roman games
stuff (even without Lazio).
