Most of this is guesswork based on tired hacks making up stuff to flesh out a non-story. Real quotes are very hard to find. So much comment on this list is based around fiction rather than truth. X 'may' join United, 'A source says' 'maybe' 'might' 'United are chasing...' >Sorry this is long but I'm a frustrated guy lol, at >the start of the close season I was excited, we'd won >the league, everyone and their dogs were >being linked to us but now we've lost Becks, our asst >manager and a certain amount of credibility. I don't see any loss of credibility. Only when the season starts and the transfer window has closed can sensible judgements be made about the comings and goings of the summer. I have a feeling that United are better off without Ronaldinho as he has proven himself consistently in any team he has played in to date. A shrewder purchase may be cheaper and also more productive. >It shows how much people have lost respect for us as >a buying club when Inter are claiming they will sign >veron and Giggs from us....what is going >on? Inter 'announce' every summer since 1992 that they want Giggs. What they say for propaganda purposes is nothing to with us. >A final thought...what about signing Dugarry? he'd be >PERFECT behind Ruud as the new Cantona, he was >written off by many (myself included) but he's proved >himself at Birmingham and he's in the Cantona or >Teddy mold. What is good enough for Birmingham City is not always good enough for us! Paul __________________________________________________ Yahoo!
