Is anyone else getting increasingly annoyed at how we seem to be letting all our summer transfer targets seemingly sign for other clubs?
Ronaldinho is rumoured to be heading to Real, and we haven't made another offer. Queresma is being lined up by Barcelona and we'd made no move. Kluivert is going for a pittance, and only Newcastle seem to want to talk to him. Kewell is apparently signing for Liverpool. (Not that I'd want him) No-one's mentioned Duff for ages. And who else are we lining up for if we don't sign these players? And before anyone says it takes time to do deals, it doesn't for every other team, and it didn't to sign Bellion and D-D. Bellion's contract expired at midnight on June 30th, and he signed July 1st, less than 24 hours later. I know he was out of contract, but that only misses agreeing a fee. I'm worried we're going to end up with nobody (else) like we did last summer after messing about with Escude for weeks instead of just making a take-it-or-leave-it offer.
