Or three, it's more media bollox. I should have thought that the matter was now closed following the statemements from Seba and Fergie. But never underestimate a lazy hack's desperation to resurrect a non-story from the dead. I kept a close eye on Seba yesterday. I didn't notice any fire under him but he was as usual better-than-average. There are few players who, when they get the ball, you expect something exciting and different but Seba is one of them. Not everything came off for him but you just feel he still has plenty to offer. Bellion had a quiet game compared with the Celtic match and it was evident that there is a lot of fine-tuning to do; running at people is all very well but he needs the finesse to outwit a defender. If he can develop that in the next couple of years, opposing defenders will end every game white-haired, broken, and looking like Martin Keown. Ruud was very good again and Diego's brace was brilliantly taken. But for me, Butty was Man of the Match. The guy's so ferocious I'm surprised Fergie doesn't send him onto the pitch muzzled and on a chain. Pity we had to concede that late goal but by then we had half the youth team on the pitch and gaps at the back were opening up. All in all, though, it was another very competent performance in difficult conditions. Terry ------------------------ Yahoo!
