I reckon space-filling...Real wont let go of Raul!! -----Original Message----- From: leo_durocher_was_right [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, July 28, 2003 3:10 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [Mufc] Raul?
The Raul rumours were doing the rounds again in the Sunday papers, claiming he'd be willing to join us, and Real would be willing to sell after the disagreement between Raul and the Real owner. It claimed we could prise him away for far less than the 71m it was claimed Chelski were about to offer, maybe more like 37m. It was claimed this was why we wanted to offload Veron, to fund the deal. Don't see why we should have to sell Veron either way since we should be able to afford 12m on top of the Beckham money, assuming a simliar arrangement. Anyone else think there's any basis to this rumour, or just more space-filling? Ed Subscription info WWW http://red11.org/list Reply to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] = subscribe to the list.
