KLEBERSON MAKES UTD BOW Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson was on hand to watch Brazil midfielder Kleberson's first appearance for the club on Wednesday evening. The 6m buy from Atletico Paranaense played a full game for the reserves at Altrincham against Blackburn in front of a crowd of about 1,000. Also in the United side was England defender Gary Neville, who had a 64-minute run-out as he continues his recovery from a torn hamstring. Kleberson almost put United ahead in the 25th minute with a fierce 20-yard shot which forced goalkeeper David Yelldell to make a full-length save. The Brazilian told MUTV: "It's been very good for me to come out and join the group and pull on the red shirt. "I am absolutely delighted. The game was played at a pace I wanted and I got a lot of the ball. Blackburn, watched by their manager Graeme Souness, secured a 2-0 victory thanks to goals from Ciaran Donnelly and Egil Ostenstad. news.bbc.co.uk http://www.red11.org/news ------------------------ Yahoo!
