Goodday All, Well what else can be said about the russian revolution at Chelski? He has taken one of our most creative players and now added our Chief Executive. In addition to this he has added another ... quality players, most regarded as world class. Seems they have the foundation now to be one of the strongest teams in the world however there seems to be a snitch.
With 27 "World Class" players fighting for a starting line up place, Claudio Ranieri is going to probably have the toughest job ever in keeping all 27 players happy. With only 11 set to start and only 3 can come off the bench that leaves and extra 13 players not taking part in the match at all. Would you be able to leave players of the calibre of "Hernan Crespo," "Claude Makele" etc. out of the starting line up and not on the subs bench. With top international players not playing surely their international futures are going to be at stake? Hmm, many problems to consider for Mr. Ranieri. (Going to be interesting to see the "Transfer Requests" from Chelsea come end of the season) On another note, Does Mr. Roman Abramovic have enough money to buy "TIME"? Somehow I don't think so and I think his team will need a a fairly long time to settle in and gel. If you look at teams with stars...Real Madrid for example, their policy is to bring in one star every summer. Much easier to let one player settle in then 12 brand new players. Some people may argue the fact that it will all be down to a rotation system however that has caused Chelsea more damage than good over the past few seasons disrupting their winning formula. Personally I think Claudio Ranieri will have more problems than resolutions. With all this said and done...I put my head on a block and state my opinion that: CHELSEA WILL NOT WIN THE PREMIER LEAGUE THIS SEASON! The good news for us is that we all support a club that we love! When Mr. Murdoch from BSkyB approached to buy Manchester United for a huge amount of money, who stopped it? THE FANS!! Did anyone even hear a murmur when Chelsea was sold?? No...guess their fans are not fans of the club but rather fans of the money! Makes me proud to be a Man Utd Fan! I also beleive the players that Sir Alex Ferguson has purchased during the summer are wise investments. Players like Djemba Djemba, Howard and Kleberson are set to solidify Man Utd at the back and keep the most important number on the score sheet...a 0 because if we dont concede goals we dont lose! Ronaldo on the other hand does look the most enterprising player in Europe...all young players and there to make their names just as the older guys did! The sale of David Beckham was questioned through and through. Some people agree and some dont. Its sad to see Becks not wearing the Man Utd shirt but gents life goes on. I have the utmost respect for David Beckham and thank him for all the years of service he provided us. Personally I don't hold a grudge that he wanted to leave but rather accept what has happened and look to the future. Sir Alex and Mr David Gill will make their fans proud and come end of the season with the Premiership Trophy, Community Shield, FA Cup, Worthington Cup and hopefully Champions League Cup in our hands, David Beckham, Roman Abramovic and Peter Kenyon will all be forgotten and names like Ronaldo and Howard will be on the back of all our shirts!
