I don't think it's that big a deal. Although some won't be happy to sit on the bench or not even figure, the fact that they're World Class players means he can throw a few new ones in each without losing too much. Also, who are the 27 world class players? AFAIK he's only bought about 9-10 players, this summer. Who was world class at Chelsea before? Maybe Cuddicini, possibly Desially (although he's old), or Gallas? Most of the rest of the team were pretty average or overrated. > The good news for us is that we all support a club that we love! No...guess their fans are not fans of the club but rather fans of > the money! Makes me proud to be a Man Utd Fan! That's not really a similar comparison, since we were a lot better off than Chelsea were, and most of the feelings against Murdoch were non-football issues about what he'd do with coverage and so on. Are you seriously telling me that if United finished 4th or 5th every season, and a billionaire came along and said he'd win us the league and buy us the best players in the world, the fans would vote against it? >I also beleive the players > that Sir Alex Ferguson has purchased during the summer are wise investments. > Players like Djemba Djemba, Howard and Kleberson are set to solidify Man Utd > at the back and keep the most important number on the score sheet...a 0 > because if we dont concede goals we dont lose! That's a very negative way to look at things, and not in keeping with the "style" of the club. The most important part of our game is SCORING not keeping clean sheets. Ever heard the phrase "boring, boring Arsenal"? That's because their primary concern was not conceeding To me, the number we conceed is irrelevent, as long as we score more. Clean sheets mean nothing, and I don't think it's the United "way" to worry about not conceeding at the expense of goals. Ed ------------------------ Yahoo!
