Has anyone heard anything on Solksjaer? If Forlan is too tired to play (or even be sub) we'll be down to 1 senior striker available.
It begs the question why weren't we interested if someone like Crespo was for sale for a pretty reasonable 16.8m? Hopefully we won't just pack the team with defenders and will look to fill attacking positions with attacking players. Perhaps Nardiello will get a chance, although he probably won't be suited to take Solksjaer's place on the wing. Chris Eagles looked good in the small bits I've seen of him, perhaps he could get a game? And there's always Fletcher, either as a starter or as backup to Ronaldo if he's tired too. To anyone who sees the reserves regularly - are there other promising players (is it too soon for Eddie Johnson to get a game?) that could slot in with all the absences?
