To be fair, Rangers could have fought back to a draw or even a win if not for some wayward shooting and Howard's rescue and P Neville's clearance. United had a lot of the possession late in the 1st half and early 2nd half. We scared Rangers shitless with continuous bombardment early in the 2nd half. It's in the final 3rd of the field were we faltered. Klos hardly had a save to make, RVN's shots from narror angles were easily handled.
What stood out was the hardwork of Phil Neville and Fortune, Fortune wore the look of a warrior before kickoff and had the same look when he was subsituted, wonder what made him so pissed. If I could reward the ref, I could. He was spot on throughout. He clearly understands the nature of the English game, which is basically physically. While some refs would have blown the whistle on some of the physical contacts, he simply waved them on. Kudos to both teams for taking each tackle into their stride and not creating any scene.
