The comment below is exactly what I was trying to express. There are deep, domain specific applications (CAD, photo/video editing, etc.) that simply must be able to have their own “language”. Or they’ll just stay over on Windows where they can have that.

But I think the point about specialist apps is deeper, and we'll need to support it. We provide a mechanism whereby the user can say to the system "don't try to guess what I'm saying in this window here, I'm using a different language".
