I completely understand the ‘bug fixing’ mode you’re in — we’re in pretty much the same boat. :) However, this particular issue would seem worth fixing from both ends, as it will be perceived as a broken workflow by our users — rightly so. I have added your Bugzilla URL to our ticket, and recommend we stay in close touch on this in coming weeks.
