You could use Unicode letter U+1F4F7 ('camera') as a
synonym for that namespace on all languages:
[[📷:myfilename.jpg|...]]
If you insist on "file" (rather than picture/image), there
is also a 'floppy disk' character (U+1F4BE, 💾). But who
remembers floppy disks in this century...
But then, are there also Unicode symbols for "thumbnail",
"upright", and the other wanted keywords?
