With all the PDA-esque features that an iPod has, I'm surprised that a conduit hasn't
been written (for GNU/Linux) to synchronize at least ONE personal-data format; a gob
of programs available exclusively for Windows or OS X implement one feature or another
(all in the case of iSync), but I can't find a scrap of information on designing or
constructing a conduit that integrates into a linux PIM.

Since MultiSync has such a prolific conduit business, I decided to ask the
synchronization experts: Is a iPod conduit feasible, and how can I (with my Mac and a
third-generation iPod) help?
I'd like to make a set of Perl scripts that would process vCards, or provide
extensions to jpilot, KDE's PIM, or whatever GNOME uses.

Any help or guidance (including encouragement) is welcome; I'm grateful for all the
work MultiSync developers have already contributed to synchronization and
personal-data management.

Thanks in advance,
-George Staehle
