Hi everyone,

while playing around with my T610, which has a severely cut down
"address book" (it stores only name, 1-3 numbers and one email address)
I could observe some rather curious behaviour of Multisync (syncing
between Evo and IrMC plugins, the phone was empty before syncing):

- Some Evolution entries were not changed.
- Some had the addresses stripped from them, but interestingly enough
they still had e.g. nicknames and birth dates attached, so they were not
entirely reduced to what the phone supports.
- Some entries were duplicated, with the duplicates being reduced to the
amount of information the phone supports with characters like "/", "-",
"(" and ")" stripped from the phone numbers.

With the wide range of devices that multisync supports and the varying
amount of information the different devices support per entry it is IMHO
imperative that Multisync preserves as much info as possible, because
with phones like my T610 the lowest common denominator is not an option.

I wanted to make sure nobody is currently working on this issue in which
case I'd like to give it a spin, so what's the situation ATM?

Regards,
Eike
