Do you have serial cable available that you can use for testing? Maybe there is an error with the usb support, i wasnt really able to test this since i didnt have usb cable for my palm...

Yes, I had given /dev/ttyUSB1. I also verified the setup with
gnome-pilot, which is currently working.

Also, I verified the permissions on those device files. They seem to be
ok.

The following is the content of my ~/.multisync/5/remotesettings

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<config><username>varadhan</username><id>1000</id><debuglevel>4</debuglevel><type>1</type><speed>57600</speed><timeout>10</t\imeout><sockaddr>/dev/ttyUSB1</sockaddr><popup>0</popup><mismatch>1</mismatch><codepage>cp1252</codepage></config>

Hope this will help in providing pointers to solve my issue.

Thanks again,

V. Varadhan

Did you check that you entered the correct devices (/dev) path?

Hi,

Recently I started configuring Multisync for syncing my evolution data
to pilots.

I have been using gnome-pilot so long and it is working fine. However,
with Multisync, I get "Unable to bind to pilot" message whenever I try
to sync my evolution data with pilot.

I am using Handspring Visor (USB). I have also stopped gnome-pilot
daemon as well.

Can anyone give me pointers to solve this issue?
