Hi,

the duplicate entries thing happens for me too, exactly the same way you
described it (with the contacts name under the phone number on the
P800). It doesn't happen every time, only occasionally.
I'm using SyncML with remote GPRS sync.

Wish I could give you more details about this, but I'll try to find out
more.

Anyone using P800 and Evolution without getting duplicate entries?

It was a while ago I tested this, but as far as I remember, there were
duplicate entries for the calendar as well.

 Hi,

 I just bought a Sony Ericsson P800.

On the weekend I used Multisync 0.80 to sync my Ximian Evolution 1.4
Calendar and Contacts with my P800. Lovely!

I used the USB cradle and set up a PPP connection between my Debian
box and the P800 as described on the p3nfs site.

I then performed a 'Remote sync' on the P800, and all of my phone book
entries were pushed onto Evolution, and a few Calender entries that I
had in Evolution were pushed onto the phone.

Go multisync! Developers- congrats for a superb application!

A few questions, I noticed that after I performed the sync there were
around 6 'multisync' processes running on my box. Normal?

Also, there was some duplicate entries created the first time that I
synched. After I removed the 'less complete' duplicates it all
 returned to normal. **

** It appears that my original P800 addressbook entries were pushed onto
Evolution, then pulled back onto the P800 with the contacts name
appearing under the phone numbers on the P800- perhaps Evolution is
 populating another field automatically?

More debugging is obviously required, anyone seen the same thing?

Now I just need a way to pull my email onto the phone while its in the
cradle... Unfortunately the built-in Internet applications insist on
initiating a GSM/GPRS 'net connection, while Opera/others seem to
detect that the PPP link is up and go out my Debian box's NAT'd
 connection.

 Regards,
