Hi,

i am currently working on the ldap plugin and i have come across an
issue with the syncengine:

If the plugin has one synced phonebook entry and the entry on the local
side is deleted and the entry on the remote side is modified, the
syncengine reports to the remote plugin to delete the modified one and
to the local plugin to add a new one with the modified data. So you end
up with the modified data on the local side and no entry on the remote
side.

I think the correct behaviour would be to just add the modified data to
the local side and not to delete it on the remote side.

By the way: It would be nice if multisync would notify the user that it
has detected that some entries were modified on both sides, so that the
user is not surprised that there are duplicates or that the entry he
deleted does not disappear (as described above)

best regards, Armin Bauer
