Why not just put a box on the right side of every syncpair? If everything went fine a green checkmark could be displayed, if the sync missed a red exklamationmark and if the user has to take care of something (like double duplicates) a yellow warning could be shown. If the user clicks on it the log window (or an extra window) could pop up with detailed information just an idea...
