Hi Dennis

I appreciate the information and the suggestion. I prefer to install from source than from RPM, but that's just a personal thing.

I did subsequently attempt to install the evo plug-in from RPM. However, I get the following error:

libgal-2.0.so.3 is needed by multisync-evolution-0.80-1

Any suggestions where I might find such a library?
Ralph

The GNOME 1 version is for Evolution 1.2 and earlier, the other (GNOME
2) version is for Evolution 1.4 and later.

Why are you building it yourself when there is an RPM?

Anyway, a development package for RPM-based Linux distributions is
usually an RPM with the same name plus the suffix "-devel", so for the
"evolution" package, that would be "evolution-devel".
