hi,

since a few days, I have a strange problem when synching my Zaurus
running OZ3.2 with evolution 1.2.4 using multisync 0.8gnome1.

It all started, when I tried to sync my Zaurus also to Outlook using
itellisync which came with the Zaurus CD. That sort of worked ok,
however after doing that, I couldn't sync at all with evolution anymore
getting some async error or something ....
Since nothing I did helped, I tought I reload the Zaurus from evolution
doing the following:

1) on the Zaurus:
        rm addressbook.xml
        rm datebook.xml
        rm todolist.xml
        touch addressbook.xml
        touch datebook.xml
        touch todolist.xml

that should give me a clean PIM environment on Z

2) on my Linux box:
        rm -rf .multisync
rm the remote1 files from the Contacts, Calender, Task dirs

        to start from scratch here

3) start multisync and configure it as before:
        using opie via sftp
        evolution as second plugin
        filter: on event always synchronize

this gives the desired result: after sync'ing all contacts, calender
entries and to-do items are copied from evolution to the Z.Here, I'm a
happy camper! :)

However, when I then exit multisync and start it again (to update both
datasets for example after adding a meeting or something), it removes
all entries from the Z and all from evolution and I'm left with nothing.
I tried that a few times after restoring evolution but always with the
same result.

I was using the multisync in the same way for a long time without any
problems.

Am I missing something when I start from scratch?

Any help would be really appreciated. This is very annoying. :(

Cheers,

        Riko
