indeed - the latest debian package has that checkbox now so I even
didn't have to make latest CVS version to compile ;-) Obviously a lot
of staff changed since month ago, when I updated packages last time...

So, multisync doesn't crash sync process in the middle as it did before
before... On the bad side: It doesn't work yet for me (even backup
backend as 2nd plugin in multisync seem do nothing) but at least phone
sends information to the PC (it says sending contacts, calendar) and
just then it fails... But I think it might be again just because of my
own mistakes... I will double check
