The syncengine and all plugins compiled and installed fine, make install being done as su (on debian/ubuntu) in each case. Now when I try to run multisync as user I get what is listed below and then it just hangs. When I try to run it as su it will start fine but obviously not find the evolution databases. What, if anything have I done wrong? How might I fix it so it will run properly as user.
I've cleaned the whole system, reinstalled a few times, tried changing any number of file permissions and ownerships but still now luck.
The help is appreciated and I will happily write a draft howto for Debian/ubuntu if/when I get it working! :-)
so multisync is not starting at all (no windows is opened)?
try to remove the socket in tmp /tmp/multisync-$USERNAME if it exists
