you are obviously using evolution 2.2 with e-d-s 1.2 (judging from the error message). please try to delete the old syncpair and recreate it since the internal storage format of evo2 changed.

The syncengine and all plugins compiled and installed fine, make install being done as su (on debian/ubuntu) in each case. Now when I try to run multisync as user I get what is listed below and then it just hangs. When I try to run it as su it will start fine but obviously not find the evolution databases. so multisync is not starting at all (no windows is opened)?
try to remove the socket in tmp /tmp/multisync-$USERNAME if it exists
