I just compiled multisync from CVS head, using Christian's multisync patch described on the openobex site:

  http://triq.net/obex/obexftp/k750i

I still get the same result when trying to connect to the phone with a USB cable and device=/dev/ttyACM0.

I'm still not sure whether I'm even attempting something that multisync supports!  (i.e. use of ACM device with USB connection to phone).  Feedback appreciated.
