Hi, try this.... Uncommitted database records are being returned as well as
committed records
Synopsis
Some users may find that when connecting to an ODBC data source, that uncommitted
records are being read as well as committed records.

Solution
This issue occurred because Crystal Reports was automatically setting the isolation
level to uncommitted, which caused problems with the ODBC driver.

This is a known issue in Crystal Reports (CR) version 8.0 and Seagate Info (SI)
version 7.5.2.0 and has been tracked. The Track/Problem ID is: ADAPT00105106. The
issue has been assigned Escalation ID (EID) 796.

Hot Fix updates addressing this issue are available as indicated below. With the
updates, the isolation level can be set manually as follows:

1. Click Start > Run. Type "Regedit" and click 'OK'.

2. Expand the registry subkey:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Seagate Software\Crystal Reports\DatabaseOptions\ODBC

3. Right-click 'Set IsolationLevel' and click 'Modify.

4. Enter the desired value (1, 2, 4, or 8) and click 'OK'. The following lists the
read type indicated by the value:

1 = uncommitted read
2 = committed read
4 = repeatable read
8 = serializable read
   Follow the link for details about it:

will solve ur problem.     Arvind.
