Yes you can do that with by using following code Assuming that i are using <input
type=file RUNAT=SERVER ID=UpFile> - make an protected object of the above control then
on button click(Not browse button of the above control) call the following code
Dim StrFileName = UpFile.PostedFile.FileName.Trim
Dim VarFileName= System.IO.Path.GetFileName(StrFileName)
UpFile.PostedFile.SaveAs("<path of the folder & "\" & VarFileName)
this will upload the file to the specified folder.
